These are often annoyingly rare. Try to save on usage by enhancing your weapon's damage, or using the omnidirectional version of the thermo cannon. These shells can be found in the wrecks of Gaian terraformers....if the Gaian has no fired any shots, there will always be 175 of them. Another common trick with these is to use teraton fabricators.
