You can convert some items into other items at a tinker gathering.

Note: Each recipe costs 50 credits to perform.


In addition to this, Tinkers will buy any damaged items, and will coat your ship in [[game:items:anti-radiation coating|Borocarbide]] (Anti-radiation coating) and decon your ship if you dock there while radioactive. The Decon+Treatment costs 1600cr in total.
