====== Nebulas ======
Nebulas are regions of space that are impassable to [[anacreon:game:units#starships]]. [[anacreon:game:units#Ramjets]] can only be built and move within nebulas and play same roles that starships play in open space.

The resources [[anacreon:game:resources#aetherium]] and [[anacreon:game:resources#chtholon]] can only be found on special [[anacreon:game:planets|planet classes]] found in nebulas.
===== Bright Nebula =====
Bright nebulas generally only contain aetherial, empyreal and nebular worlds. Fleet [[anacreon:game:sensors|visibility]] is reduced by 50%.
===== Dark Nebula =====
Dark nebulas can contain any class of worlds //except// aetherial and empyreal. Fleet [[anacreon:game:sensors|visibility]] is reduced by 75%. In future eras, [[anacreon:lexicon#direct]] attack damage will reduced by 50% and [[anacreon:lexicon#missile]] attack [[anacreon:lexicon#range]] will be reduced by 25%.
==== Rift Zones ====
Found only in dark nebulas, transpace rift nebula zones are totally [[anacreon:game:movement|impassable]] to fleets. Fleets may be able to navigate through gaps in the rift zone.
