The Transcendence Community is very active and vibrant, providing members with numerous activities and events to enrich the Transcendence experience.

At least twice a year the Transcendence community gathers together on irc (Transcendence Chat) to discuss the past, present, and future of the game with George. While discussions occur every day on irc, IRC Days are unique as they have the following:

• Question and Answer time with George
• Discussions and Incites into the future of the game with George
• Idea Table with Developers and Modders
• General Discussion time

On a normal IRC day, the event will last several hours of event filled time and discussions, so plan ahead!

Many of the active members on the community play a shared version of Transcendence which is rotated between players as they attempt to advance through the game without dying (once). If you are interested contact RPC on irc or the forums.

The Modding Challenges are where active modders (or new modders) come together to create new and unique mods. This usually occurs over IRC and development and help can be found there as well. The challenge is to create a mod (usually with a specific topic or feature) within the time allotted.

Mod of the Month has been a staple of the community since its inception in 2010. The premise is all mods that are new and unique (no patches) are eligible. Winners get a badge / signature that they can use on the forum. They are also automatically entered in the Mod of the Year competition. The Mod of the Month has the following rules:

1. Mods must be new and unique.

1. Community organizers are employees of Kronosaur or MoTM Organizers (Ttech)
   1. Community organizers cannot participate in the competition.
2. You must be 13 or older to participate
3. A mod shall be considered to be elligable if it has not been won in the same 12 month period.
4. Mods must be new and unique.
   1. You may not copy or use another mod that is not yours
   2. Mods are selected based on their newness, if a mod has already been run once please let event organizers know so it can be removed.
   3. Mods cannot be patches of other mods
5. Mods must be released and uploaded on Xelerus or similar. IT HAS TO BE UPLOADED BEFORE THE MONTH ENDS
6. Each Mod of the Month is run for the previous month, for example the April mod of the month will be run in May.
7. Organizers reserve the right to cancel or postpone a contest.

Mod of the Year is the highest modding competition around in the community. All mods that have run and won in the previous 12 mod of the Months are eligible Winners get a big banner / signature and recognition.

1. All rules for Mod of the Month apply to Mod of the Year.
2. Mods must win from the previous 12 months
3. Mod of the Month is run in December (so all mods from November to November)
