This giant ship can be found near the outer Heretic nebula, escorted by many Xenophobe defenders and a huge swarm of Xenophobe fighters.

Tactics
Because of the huge amount of Xenophobe fighters with lancer cannons, don't even go anywhere near this without great particle resistance. If you have an armor (such as light Iocrym armor) that can fully resist the lancer cannons, it should be fine to come somewhat close, at which point some defenders and lots of fighters will start chasing you. After killing the fighters and defenders chasing you, repeat this until they are all dead.
The Usual Way
The usual way of killing this requires Domina Powers, and takes advantage of Circle of Wrath. The basic idea is to kill the wimpy escourts, then soften up the Ark. Get close to fire the Circle of Wrath and watch the ship go boom. Don't use Shatter because it won't leave a wreck and you'd lose the quest item inside the ark.
